2024 Nature in the City: Cooling your Suburb Grants Program

Round Five of the Nature in the City: Cooling your Suburb Grants Program is now open for applications. This program is designed to support projects and feasibility studies which focus on urban cooling through nature-based means. In particular priority will be given to projects and studies in urban locations with lower than average tree canopy cover and/or at locations that are hotter than average within the ACT.

$150,000 is available in Round Five, with up to $50,000 available for projects and up to $10,000 for feasibility studies which meet the eligibility criteria.

This session will provide a brief overview of the program objectives, past recipient projects and eligibility requirements. Tips on completing an application and how they are assessed will be covered. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the program. It is recommended that attendees read the grant guidelines prior to the information session. Grant guidelines are available here.
