From June 8-10th 2024, roller derby teams from every corner of Australia and New Zealand converged on the Adelaide Showground to battle it out on the track once more at The Great Southern Slam (TGSS).

With 45 teams from 40 AU/NZ leagues competing in 67 roller derby bouts over three days on four tracks, TGSS is the biggest thing this side of the equator. 

TGSS Division 1 was also the inaugural WFTDA Regional Championships for the Oceania Region in 2024! Two Division 1 teams picked up an invite to the WFTDA Global Championships in Portland, Oregon (no spoilers).
