Join us for Wardell CORE’s AGM & Community Social Event!

We are thrilled to invite you to another celebration of our wonderful community journey and to join us for our much-awaited 'Members Meetup,' for an evening of camaraderie and festivities.

Date: Saturday 28th September

**Annual General Meeting :** 4:30pm - 5:30pm [ FREE to attend ]

Location:  Wardell CORE Rainbow Room, (Catholic Church Hall).  Celebrate with us as we reflect on the year’s achievements, discuss our progress, achievements, and exciting plans for the future. Your valuable input and presence are vital as we shape the way forward for the Wardell CORE Neighbourhood Centre. Enjoy light refreshments as we usher in a new governance committee and enjoy a chance to mingle with fellow members.

**Social Event*  5:30pm onwards [ see ticketing ]

Location: Wardell Hall.  After the AGM, join us for a social evening with live music by Dan Hannaford and entertainment! There will be raffles, games and plenty of fun, making this a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together.

Dinner and entertainment is included in this years ticketed social event.  Get aboard the spud train for a fabulous feed of loaded baked potatoes.

This years "Members Meetup" is for financial members, friends of Wardell CORE and community members and promises to be a memorable event that celebrates our thriving community, our accomplishments, and the boundless potential of what we can achieve together. Governance Committee

Wardell CORE is a dynamic, responsive and independent not-for-profit community organisation. Our programs and services foster social connection and wellbeing. In order to function as a successful and effective association we depend on passionate volunteers to join our Governance Committee to support our practice frameworks, strategic planning, finance and liabilities.   If you have a passion for community development, experience in governance, management or have other skills to bring to the table we would love to hear from you.   Please contact wardellcore@gmail.com to request a Committee Member nomination or to arrange a meeting to discuss your involvement.

Community Advisory Committee

Wardell CORE is excited to announce the formation of a new Community Advisory Committee aimed at strengthening community involvement and tapping into local expertise. This committee will play a key role in helping Wardell CORE remain responsive to the evolving needs of our community, ensuring that our programs and services continue to be relevant, engaging, and effective.

We are seeking enthusiastic community members to join us, share their insights, and contribute to shaping the future direction of Wardell CORE. Whether you have expertise in community work, local knowledge, or simply a passion for supporting the community, your involvement will help us make a lasting impact.

Operations Committee

Wardell CORE Operations Committee, a dedicated group made up of current staff, volunteers, and program managers. This committee plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our facilities and ensuring the smooth delivery of our programs and services.

We are grateful for the commitment and teamwork of everyone involved, and we look forward to continuing to grow and improve the services we offer with their support. This committee is participatory and not open for nomination.
