Carving a Minimalist Echidna and Platypus
In this class, you will carve two beautiful little sculptures designed around the
characteristics of these two beautiful creatures. This class will help you interpret the
familiar forms into objects that are beautiful to hold and capture the essence and
character of your subjects,

 We will cover timber, the properties, and characteristics
 Design
 Tool and sharpening
 Finishing including paint and charring
 All the tools and timber you need will be provided

What To Bring.
Bring a notepad and pencil, and please wear covered, sturdy shoes.

Finishing using milk paint, natural pigments, oils and charring.

No previous experience necessary. Beginners Welcome.

Please bring an apron & wear closed in shoes. 

All tools and materials are supplied, however if you have

tools you’d like to bring, please feel free.
