2024 Year 6 Canberra Tour Payment and Tour Information

Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers, 
 
We are looking forward to the Year 6 Canberra Tour, scheduled for Week 1 of Term 4, Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 October. 

To finalise your son’s attendance on the tour, please pay the $700 family contribution by Friday 27 September, noting that this figure includes the $90 cost for the Year 6 Tour Jersey.

This page will be closed once the boys have returned from Canberra. 

Year 6 Canberra Tour Information 

• Medication - all medication taken on the tour needs to be accompanied by a medication authority form completed.  All medication must be sent in its original packaging with expiry dates, administration detail and medication name visible.  Prescribed medication will also require a GP Plan with clear instructions for administering while away. Please click here to access and complete the Medication Agreement for your son, and access the Parent Lounge to check or update his current medical information.  

• Dietary Requirements – boys will need to bring their own recess for the first day. Please note that all other meals will be provided. Please enter or update your son’s dietary requirements via the Parent Lounge to ensure we are able to cater for his needs. 

• Shopping – a small amount of spending money is recommended for boys to be able to purchase memorabilia while on Tour. We will be visiting the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) which has been a popular shopping destination for our students in the past. To reduce time spent browsing, we have set up a link to pre-purchase items which will be ready for the boys to collect upon their departure. Please click here to access the AIS Shop

• Itinerary / Flight Information – students will be allocated to flights by our tour company, Unearthed, at the end of Term 3. Families will receive an itinerary specific to their son’s flight and activity roster once these have been confirmed. 

• Bookings / Payment – a reminder to please finalise your booking and payment no later than Friday 27 September.
