Event description
This training is open to any professional in the Northern Metropolitan Region (NMR) who responds to family violence.
Explore how to contribute to risk assessment and collaborate for ongoing risk management through respectful and sensitive engagement with victim survivors, information sharing, referral and secondary consultation.
This is not risk assessment training, but forms an integral component of the MARAM suite of training for professionals responding to family violence.
Before attending, all participants are required to:
- Read the MARAM Foundation Knowledge Guide
- Watch the Helping end family violence – the Information Sharing Schemes and MARAM film
- Watch the Introduction to Family Violence Response (60 minutes) webinar.
Time: 9.30am – 4.00pm (please log in at 9:15am for 9:30am admission)
Venue: Online via Zoom (you will need a computer, microphone and webcam to participate in this training)

Am I eligible for this training?
This training is only open to workers in the Northern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. This includes the local council areas of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Merri-Bek, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Yarra.
