Mentoring is a powerful career skill which offers a suite of benefits to both the mentor and mentee, as well as to the organisation and wider community.
A key skill for current and aspiring leaders, along with those seeking to “give back”, mentoring is a mutually rewarding experience which has the power to change lives, create legacies and empower others.
This course is designed for current and potential mentors who have experience or expertise to share and would like to learn effective ways to build and maintain a mentoring relationship.
We explore a range of useful mentoring tools and structures, as well as developing specific skills to nurture and sustain the relationship.
Topics include:
- Understanding mentor and mentee roles
- Mentoring types and structures
- The mentoring agreement: setting up a professional mentorship
- Developing others
- Professional allyship
- Understanding knowledge transfer
- Support problem solving
- Building mentee strengths
- Offering guidance
This course includes:
- Engaging, up-to-date materials.

SCHOLARSHIPS
