2025/26 State Performance Program Trials - Under 18s and Under 16s

Trial for the Basketball QLD State Performance Program (SPP) to take your game to the next level and represent Queensland at the Australian Junior Championships.

Open to registered BQ athletes in Under 16 and Under 18 age groups who have played in the top two divisions of recent Junior Representative competitions or State Championships.

Athletes born in 2011 and 2012 are eligible for U16 trials, and athletes born in 2009 and 2010 are eligible for U18 trials.

Note: Registration will remain open until the day of the trial. However, if you do not register by 7 August, you will not receive a reversible for the trials.

U16/U18 South Female Trials – 17 August @ Runaway Bay
U16: 8:00–9:30am & 11:30am–1:00pm
U18: 9:30–11:00am & 1:00–2:30pm

U16/U18 South Male Trials – 24 August @ Coomera Indoor Sport
U16: 9:00–10:30am & 12:30–2:00pm
U18: 10:30am–12:00pm & 2:00–3:30pm

U16 Central Female & Male Trials – 30 August @ Mackay Basketball
Women: 12:00–1:30pm & 3:30-5:00pm
Men: 1:30pm–3:00pm & 5:00–6:30pm

U18 Central Female & Male Trials – 31 August @ Mackay Basketball
Women: 9:00–10:30am & 12:30–2:00pm
Men: 10:30am–12:00pm & 2:00–3:00pm

U16 North Female & Male Trials – 30 August @ Trinity Bay SHS, Cairns
Women: 9:00–10:30am & 12:30–2:00pm
Men: 10:30am–12:00pm & 2:00–3:00pm
