Biography
As a late protégé of the well-known Chinese Composer/Pianist Jianzhong Wang, Yuan Wang started learning piano with him at Age of 5. Yuan is a graduate with high honors and scholarship from Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Qi Zhang and Shanshan Jin. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music Degree at the CCPA of Roosevelt University under the tutelage of Prof.Winston Choi, Prof.Michal Drewnowski and Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Alexandre Moutouzkine, while also taking private lessons with distinguished pianist Jeffrey Biegel and Vladimir Viardo.
As an aspiring young classical pianist, Yuan has achieved remarkable results at major competitions, both domestically and internationally, including:

Recent highlights include recital debuts in Carnegie Hall, New York; Chopin's Former Residence, Valldemosa, Majorca, Spain; Appearance performance in Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary; Chamber music performance in Paderewski Symphony Orchestra Music Academy, Chicago and Ganz Hall, Chicago; Auer Hall, Bloomington, Indiana and Seoul National University. Nanjing Culture and Art Center, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Shanghai Helvting Concert Hall, Shanghai Opera House, Guangzhou Opera House.
Yuan Wang is a contracted concert pianist of AC Orange, a performing arts company of national renown based in Shenzhen. Under their auspices, he had conducted countrywide tours of China, covering many provinces such as Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Anhui, Guangdong and Fujian. Yuan has had the honor to study and play with many influential pianists, including Lang Lang, Meng Chieh Liu, Solomon Mikowsky, Matti Raekallio, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Vladimir Viardo, Ilja Scheps, Yilun Huang.
