2025 AI Clinical Idea Sprint
Description
We are thrilled to invite you to join our AI Clinical Idea Sprint and see how far a team can push generative AI in a single morning. We will work in teams to solve a health problem in just 1hr. We’re not only talking about the problem, but actually using AI platforms to go from ‘nothing’ to ‘a full working solution’: this may mean a prototype/demo of a voice chatbot, a grant idea, a simulated paper, invention, a conceptual framework… anything really!
Time | What you'll be doing |

10:00am | Welcome, a 3-minute sample pitch with example feedback from the panel to see how it’ll all work |
10:10am – 11:10am | Form cross-disciplinary teams (5ish) and build a solution from scratch. Use any of the latest AI tools you like (e.g., ChatGPT 5, Claude, Gemini, agents etc). Your goal: A clinical solution, presented with a 3min pitch and a clear value proposition. |
11:10am – 11:40am | Each team pitches to a panel of clinicians, technologists and commercialisation mentors. |
11:40am | Panel feedback |
11:45am | Group reflection on what worked, what didn’t and how to carry the methods back to your own projects. |
11:50am | Finish, grab a coffee, keep the momentum going. |
