The Board of Encircle Community Services Ltd. cordially invites members, supporters, friends, and the general public to the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Encircle Community Services Ltd.
The guest speaker will be Legal Services Manager at the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health, Keryn Ruska.
Keryn is an Aboriginal woman from the Noonuccal tribe of the Quandamooka people of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island). She is also a lawyer with experience in family law, child protection, domestic violence, discrimination, and human rights.
Keryn has worked at a number of community legal centres and is currently the Legal Services Manager at the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health’s embedded community legal service. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society’s Human Rights and Civil Law Committee and First Nations Law and Policy Committee, the Law Council of Australia's Indigenous Legal Issues Committee, and the Queensland Coroner’s Domestic and Family Violence Death Review Board.
This year's AGM will be an in-person only event. Light refreshments will be provided.
