Anti-Poverty Week Community Gathering

Join us for a thought-provoking morning as we come together to raise awareness during Anti-Poverty Week. This free public event will explore the realities of poverty across Australia and right here in Bundaberg.

Attendees will receive a small bag of food items designed to help visualise the limited daily intake that some children and adults rely on,  a simple but powerful prompt to reflect on the daily struggles faced by those living below the poverty line.

The event will feature speakers and community voices discussing:

• The scale of poverty at national, state, and local levels

• What support is currently available

• What more we can do to help those who are struggling
