2025 Calvin Award for Scholarship on Christianity in Business
Event description
Join us Friday, September 12, 4:00-5:00 pm, at the Calvin University School of Business for the annual Award for Scholarship on Christianity in Business. This award recognizes an academic paper that makes an exceptional contribution to Christian theological inquiry in business or the social scientific study of Christian religious phenomena in business.
Dr. Kent Miller will give a presentation and accept the award for his winning academic paper:
Kent D. Miller, “Reorienting Strategy to Shalom”, Christian Scholar’s Review, 53:4, 29-50.
Dr. Miller is Chairperson and Professor of Management at the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, Michigan State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. His research examines strategic issue management and organizational learning and change, as well as methodological and philosophical issues in management and organization studies.
Light refreshments will be available prior to the presentation.
