2025 Childhood Summit - Through Their Eyes
Event description
Childhood Summit 2025 - Through Their Eyes
In a rapidly changing world, how are our children truly faring? The 2025 Childhood Summit will put children at the centre of critical discussions, ensuring their voices shape the policies and communities that affect them most. Held at Unity Hub, Logan, during Children’s Week 2025, this two-day event will bring together children, policymakers, educators, researchers, community services, and child rights advocates to amplify young voices and inspire action.
With the theme “Through Their Eyes,” the summit challenges adults to see the world from a child’s perspective. A key highlight is the ‘Voice of Childhood’ keynote segment, where 42 young speakers (ages 3-14) will share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas with an audience of decision-makers and changemakers. This initiative encourages meaningful engagement between children and adults, demonstrating the importance of listening to young voices in shaping a better future.
The event will also feature presentations from leading child advocates and industry professionals, providing valuable insights into the challenges facing children today. However, the heart of the summit remains with the children themselves—ensuring they have a platform to speak on issues that matter most to them.
