2025 Cranbrook Junior School AFC Bus Service

Event description

Students attending after school swimming lessons at the Murray Rose Aquatic and Fitness Centre (AFC) are able to utilise the Cranbrook School subsidised bus service which stops at the Senior School campus travelling from Cranbrook Junior School Campus in the afternoon during the school term to get to their swimming lessons.

Students will board the bus at the Junior School, and will be met at the bus stop by AFC staff. They will be walked to the AFC and supervised until their lesson commences.

Please note due to traffic conditions in the afternoon it may be difficult for students to attend lessons at 3.45pm, please be aware if utilising this service your child may be late.

The cost of a bus pass for one weekday is $100.00 and will be valid for the term only and only on the selected weekday. You will need to select the relevant day of the week you are purchasing a bus pass for. This bus pass may be used on that weekday afternoon only. If you wish to use this service on multiple weekdays, you will need to purchase a ticket for each of those weekdays.

Please note the following important terms and conditions regarding this bus service

  • Bus passes are for the use of the bus Monday to Friday during the relevant school term in the afternoon on the selected weekday(s) only.
  • Payment is required in advance for future terms.
  • Bus passes are not transferrable.
  • Purchases of term bus passes are strictly non-refundable. No refunds are available for missed days, absences, changes in circumstances, if you cease using the service for any reason or if your child leaves the School.
  • Places on the bus are limited.
  • Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the timetabled times, these timings are approximate and may vary, including due to traffic conditions and to ensure passenger safety.
  • Misbehaviour during travel to or from the School may result in a student's right to travel on the bus service being suspended or cancelled, and/or other sanctions such as detention. This includes any breach of the Student Code of Conduct – Junior School.
