2025 Deakin UniSport Nationals - Distance Running

Congratulations on representing Deakin at the 2025 UniSport Nationals - Distance Running 

Event Details

Dates: 5-6 July 2025

Location: Gold Coast, QLD

Costs

UniSport Registration:      FREE

Travel costs:                   All travel/accom is arranged and paid by the student.

Extras:           All incidentals and food (outside of team dinner) are at the student’s expense. DUSA will organise a team dinner for all Deakin student athletes participating at the event.

UniSport Nationals events provide students a great opportunity to represent their university while connecting with fellow student athletes . We encourage you to have a good look through the event website including the event schedule. 

Communication

We'd encourage you to be active on the group chat so you communicate before the event, share your travel plans, etc. While at the event, please do not hesitate to reach out to the DUSA sport team as well.

How can I confirm my position in the Deakin team?
Complete DUSA registration here by Friday 16th May.

Due Dates/Timeline:

16th May:           Due date for DUSA registration. Students will not be able to register for the team after this date.

5th July:            All UniSport registrations close.

Uniforms

Uniform kits can be collected from DUSA Sport Team on either the Waurn Ponds or Burwood Campus. 

Transport

All students are to arrange their own transport to and from the event.

Academic Extension Requests

The event takes place in T2 O'Week. If you need to apply to your Unit Chair for any extensions, there will be an automated online request form available, or just email DUSA Sport.

It will provide a letter of participation containing the inputted information will be automatically generated and sent to you via e-mail. You then present the letters(s) of participation to your Unit Chair(s). Extensions are at the Unit Chair’s discretion.
