2025 Disabled Surfers Central Coast Volunteer Training Umina Beach

Learn about Summers best volunteer roles!  We are holding FREE Level 1 & 2 volunteer training sessions as we need volunteers both in the water and on the beach to make our events possible. Note to attend Level 2, you must have completed Level 1 and attended at least 2 seasons of DSA events.

The morning comprises of a theory session upstairs at Umina Surf Club followed by in the water training with several of our surfers. A rash shirt will be provided for the day, and we have limited wetsuits so BYO if you can.  You don’t need to be a surfer to volunteer however water skills are highly valued.

If you are a new volunteer who would like to know why and how we do what we do, or a returning volunteer who needs to refresh your skills or wish to be trained for reaching higher roles, please register to come along. Doors open 8.45am for 9am start.
