Join us on this 3.5 km walk through some of the habitats of CCR to discover the stories behind the fauna and plant species that live here. A a more adventurous walk, sections of the track are eroded and uneven, and include some steep climbs. The walk has a difficulty grade of 3.5 out of 5. Walk leader: Tissa Ratnayeke is an experienced Top End natural history guide, educator, and photographer with a particular passion for revealing the secret lives of our often overlooked little creatures. Please wear enclosed walking shoes. Consider protection from the sun and biting insects. Bring drinking water, and binoculars/camera if you have them.

Join us for a short nature art walk/experience to explore and sketch unique Top End plants and found elements in their natural environment. Walk leader: David Percival is an artist with many talents and a focus on the environmental. He is also the artist of the Friends of Casuarina bird banner. Please bring your favourite art materials for sketching (e.g., sketchbook, watercolour or mixed media paper, graphite pencils, coloured pencils, fine liners, watercolours). Don't forget to pack a water bottle, hat, and, optionally, a foldable chair or rag.

Tap into Chris' intimate knowledge of the evolutionary biology of amphibians and the population ecology of local and introduced rainbow skinks. Walk leader: Dr Chris Jolly is a herpetologist and author of the Field Guide to the Reptiles of the NT. Please wear a hat and bring some drinking water.

Long clothes, covered shoes, sunglasses/glasses (for eye protection), a hat, water, and an adventuresome spirit are essential.
