Event description

The HDR Leadership Program was constructed as the Faculty was keen to invest in its next generation of research leaders. The aims were to provide guidance and support to its HDR students through mentorship and experiential learning.

In the inaugural year if the Leadership Program, Ifeoma Dikeocha set the bar very high. She took full advantage of her time shadowing some of the Faculty’s most successful academic leads and highly efficient support teams like the Research Development team, Business Development team and Communications and Media.

Come along and hear about Ifeoma’s fulfilling experience and learnings from the program. Ifeoma’s journey included shadowing the R&D team at Fresenius Kabi in Frankfurt and the principal investigator at Danone Nutricia Research. She also met with and had lab tours with postdocs at the German Cancer Research Institute and the Nutrition and Cancer Lab at Wageingen University.
