2025 Honouring Jewish Refugees from Arab Lands and Iran

Join us for the annual commemoration event – hosted by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, the National Council of Jewish Women Australia (NSW) and other communal organisations for commemoration and celebration of ‘Honouring Jewish Refugees from Arab Lands and Iran’.

This story is an important part of modern Jewish history, the NSW Jewish community and the entire Jewish diaspora and the demographic composition of the Middle East and North Africa.

The theme for this year’s commemoration will focus on the Jewish communities that thrived and flourished in Iran prior to their persecution during the time of the Islamic revolution and ever since.
