Industry Planting Day - Queenstown 2025
Event description
2,000 native trees: one powerful day of action.
Rally your team and join Queenstown’s business community for an unforgettable day of connection, collaboration, and hands-on climate action. Together with the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, QLDC, and Skyline, we’ll roll up our sleeves to restore this stunning part of our rohe and give back to the place that gives us so much.
With 2,000 native seedlings ready to go in the ground, this year’s event will take the collaborative total to over 4,000 plants at this site over the last two years.
Come along for a morning or afternoon planting session, enjoy a legendary BBQ lunch thanks to the team at Skyline, and see the Reforestation Trust’s community nursery in action.
This event is a collaboration between the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, Love Queenstown, Skyline and Queenstown Lakes District Council, with generous support from Air New Zealand, Trees that Count (via Bupa), Patagonia, and Ryd.
