Join the ACLU of Hawaiʻi for a virtual Legislative Advocacy 101 training on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6pm!

This legislative session, the fight to strengthen civil liberties continues! If we’re going to succeed in creating a safer, more just, and equitable Hawaiʻi, we need YOUR help.

At this interactive virtual event, ACLU staff will highlight our 2025 legislative priorities (link in bio) and our work to reform the justice system, protect reproductive rights, and legalize cannabis. We’ll talk story about what matters to you and dive into how we can work together to make our voices heard at the Capitol. Whether you’re a lifelong activist or a newbie to organizing, this training will help equip you with the advocacy tools you’ll need to join the fight!

With help from community partners and volunteers, the ACLU of Hawai‘i works to ensure that the government does not violate fundamental constitutional rights of everyone — regardless of race, socioeconomic status, gender expression, sexual orientation, or anything else. We fight for a safer, more just Hawai‘i.

Defending civil liberties in the state of Hawai‘i is a constant battle, but a rewarding one. We will continue to work daily in the courts, legislatures and out in the community to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States. As an independent government watchdog, we are able to do this work with the support from individual donors.
