TEDx PowerSt ARISE is a pioneering TEDx community and stage 100% community-curated and created by the new generation of Asian-Australian possibilists and global citizens to amplify ideas, perspectives, stories, voices, and talents.

You're invi-TED to spend an evening with our dynamic multi-disciplinary TEDx speakers and our TEDx ARISE community

4:30pm Welcome and updates: Since launch, we have curated, prepared and platformed 8 pioneering TEDx speakers, hosted national online TEDx conversation events one on Asian parenting in Australia, and TED HQ has uploaded our inaugural TED Talk by Qin Qin, author of "Model Minority Gone Rogue". We are amidst community-curating our first 28 TED speakers and performances.

Launch of our pioneer TED Talk Idea and Community Ambassador program that will span diverse professions, Asian communities, and cities across Australia. This Ambassador program is opened to Asian-Australian thinkers+doers and community leaders

6pm Dinner at Sama-Sama restaurant downstairs (self-pay, see menu )

7-9pm Continue celebrating at our Talk+Eat-Drink Community Party
- Dessert and Drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol, hot and cold)
- Connect and converse with our augural TEDx speakers
- Meet and mingle with diverse and multi-disciplinary Asian-Australian thinkers and doers
- TED 2025: Exclusive opportunity to watch what attending a TED conference is actually like, and not-yet-released TED 2025 Talks
- Pool table

- Come dressed in TED colours: Red, white, and/or black

- Recommend tram #58 and #1 mere 3 mins walk.   Parking is also available all around and underground.
