MCR Capability Development Initiative - Launch event
Event description
The Mid-Career Researcher Capability Development Initiative (MCR CDI) is a UTS internal funding scheme, providing up to $20,000 to each MCR to develop up to 2 self-selected research capabilities from the Research Outcomes Capability Framework in 2025.
In addition, the initiative will fund 5 x 2.5hr workshops run by an external facilitator where awardees develop a 5-year research plan in collaboration with nominated mentors and their cohort of peers.

Applications open on Monday 17 February and close on 12:00pm Monday 17 March. Please join us for this seminar led by Alexandra Nicolas, Research Capability and Development team, to find out more and ask any questions you may have about the program.
This seminar will also feature presentations by Dr Meera Radhakrishnan (Research Fellow, The Data Science Institute), and Dr Wyatt Million (Postdoctoral Research Associate, Climate Change Cluster), who completed the 2024 ECR Capability Development Initiative and can provide an insight as to what they did last year and their reflections.
