2025 Memorial Day Bird Count

Join DLC for the annual Memorial Day Bird Count! We'll start early with the birds at DuPont Open Space, assisted by volunteers with all sorts of birding experience. Dress for the weather and an easy hike, and bring water and snacks. Bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you wish. We will park at the DuPont Park parking lot by the ball field off Main Street, in the lower part of the town of Louviers. No prior birding experience required.

DLC hikes are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community.
