2025 Mother's Day High Tea in The Factory

Treat Mum to a first-class experience this Mother's Day at The Tea Room inside The Grounds Coffee Factory. Surrounded by vintage charm and subtle nods to old-world train travel, you'll enjoy a beautiful menu of sweet and savoury delights, served with a cup of tea, coffee, or juice.

Please book all of the seats you require together in one transaction to ensure that you're seated together. Please also note that The Tea Room is located on the upper level of The Grounds Coffee Factory, accessible via two flights of stairs with no direct lift access. As such, we strongly recommend leaving prams at home for this experience.

• Poached chicken finger sandwich, with celery and mayo.
• Salted beef and mozzarella finger sandwich, with fennel slaw and pickle sauce.
• Poached lobster choux, with créme fraîche, fennel and caviar.
• Truffled mushroom tartlet, with fontina and caramelised onion.
• Chicken and water chestnut sausage roll, with roasted tomato relish and aioli.
• Poached rhubarb tartlet, with hibiscus and almond.
• Fig, wild honey and white chocolate macaron.
• Champagne, rose and strawberry roll.
• Passionfruit and mango crémeux on vanilla shortbread.
• Canelé, with mascarpone cream and rum custard.
  
• A cup of tea, coffee, or juice.

Please note that a special menu, different to the one above will be served to children aged 12 years and younger. All dishes will be plated to share.

Important Information

• Bookings for this experience require a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 seats per table and transaction. For larger groups of 9+ people, please contact us on (02) 9699 2225 to discuss seating options.
• Styling may differ from the images shown. Please leave all candles, flowers, and tableware behind after your experience. Missing items may incur a charge.
• Arrive at least 10-minutes early to make the most of your 90-minute session!
• Sessions are first-come, first-served, so don't wait too long.
• All bookings must be made at least 72-hours in advance.
• Your experience includes one drink (tea, coffee, or juice) per person, but you're welcome to purchase extras on the day.
• Alcohol is only available to guests aged 18+ years after 10am.
• Can't make it? Full refunds are available up to 5-days before your session.
• Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.
• This menu can be adjusted for vegetarians. Other modifications aren't available, but we can arrange an alternative - just contact us before booking. Please note that not all ingredients are listed on the menu. Be aware that our menu contains allergens and is prepared in a kitchen handling nuts, shellfish, gluten, and eggs. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee allergen-free food.
