Entry instructions

There are concrete steps and a ramp leading up to the entrance, which is a set of double doors, with usually just the left door open. Prams can be taken inside and parked anywhere, inside.

After entry instructions

You will walk into a small foyer, then turn right and walk through the double doors of the Hall. It is best to pull the door towards you, as they are swing doors so want to avoid opening it into a person potentially on the other side of the door. Once you enter, to your left will be a table with our "Welcome" notice, for newbies, alongside our wee merch suitcase. Grab yourselves a cushion on the floor and have your props close-by (we will use them about midway through the class), and we will start the class as soon as everybody's ready. Chairs are available to sit on, if you'd prefer.

Toilet location

Just as you enter the building, in the foyer, the toilets are to your left.

Parking

Only street parking is available. It is very close to the New Brighton shopping area, so the nearest bus stop is a short walk away (approx. a block).

Morning Tea

Morning tea will usually be offered, after our class - crackers and bikkies for tamariki/children, and a cuppa and biscuit for pakeke/adults. Occasionally the church ladies will have homemade jams and baking available to purchase. There is a lot of space to run around, inside the Hall, and a grassed area outside, that is NOT fenced but is a great space for a catch-up picnic with friends (weather permitting, of course!). ** PLEASE NOTE!! If you decide to have a cuppa, please be aware of where you place your hot drink. With so many little ones around, consider keeping them up high, on a solid surface, away from the edge, or not making it as hot as you usually would.
