  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Event description

Take the stage. Discover your voice. Come along and sharpen your public speaking skills at the ESU Secondary School Public Speaking Competition in 2025!

Entrants for Year 11 and 12 in North Queensland can enter through this event. 

Senior Speech Topic: "In matters of style, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock." - Thomas Jefferson

Heat Date: 16th July 2025

Heat Starting Times: 5:30pm arrival for a 6:00pm start

Venue: School House, Townsville Grammar School (45 Paxton Street, North Ward) 

Tickets: Participation tickets can be purchased here for competing students. Audience members do not require a ticket, and all are welcome to come and support the competitors.
