Kick-Off Breakfast: 2025 NTX Disability Days of Service

The North Texas Disability Chamber in partnership with Communities Foundation of Texas & CFT's Center for Business Impact is proud to host the Kick-Off Breakfast of the inaugural 2025 NTX Disability Days of Service.

The inaugural 2025 NTX Disability Days of Service will feature 8+ nonprofits with over 80+ volunteer opportunities spanning over two days across North Texas.

The purpose of this event is to bring the business and corporate communities together to put a spotlight on our nonprofit community dedicated to support youth and adults with disabilities in North Texas in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). This year's theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent."

Our Kick-Off Breakfast will include a continental breakfast, featured panel from Hugs Cafe Inc. and White Rhino Coffee, ample opportunities for networking including an onsite volunteer activity.

• Creative Hearts @ CFT (Dallas)
  Create heartfelt cards and notes for children facing medical challenges at Scottish Rite—bring your creativity and compassion.

• 29 Acres (Cross Roads)
  Tend an organic garden supporting adults with autism—weed, plant, and help grow fresh produce for cooking programs.

• Envision Dallas (Farmers Branch)
  Prep for White Cane Day by stuffing packets, organizing t-shirts, and helping with signage for this event supporting people who are blind and visually impaired.

• nonPareil Institute (Plano)
  Decorate a “Career Confidence Wall,” assist with resumes and mock interviews, and mentor neurodivergent adults on workplace skills.

• United Rocks (Plano)
  Support admin tasks like updating databases and sending emails to help grow this rock climbing nonprofit for individuals with IDD.

• The Warren Center (Richardson)
  Sort toys for Operation Santa and make thank-you calls to donors—help ensure every child receives a perfect gift and every supporter feels appreciated.

• Texas Ramp Project (Farmers Branch) Build a wheelchair ramp for a neighbor in need—7:30 AM–1:00 PM V at 3341 Towerwood Dr, Suite 204. Your time and teamwork can transform a life.

• My Possibilities (Plano) Brighten classrooms and deep clean learning spaces—9:00 AM–12:00 PM at 3601 Mapleshade Ln. Paint, prep, and refresh our educational campus.

• Camp Summit (Paradise) Fall Planting Day—9:00 AM–11:30 AM at 270 Private Road 3475. Help beautify and winterize our campgrounds for children and adults with disabilities.
