Jo Palmer, Program Lead at Tech Ready Women, Founder of Pointer Remote and The Connection Table

Jo is a champion for women in entrepreneurship with deep experience as a founder and innovation leader. She has designed and delivered impactful programs across Australia, connecting entrepreneurs to mentorship, funding and commercialisation pathways. As the founder of Pointer Remote and The Connection Table, Jo has been a strong voice for remote work and regional inclusion. Most recently, she led innovation programs at Charles Sturt University, focused on building diverse, inclusive innovation ecosystems.

With a background spanning education, recruitment, advocacy and startups, Jo brings both lived experience and strategic insight. She’s especially passionate about creating equitable access for rural, remote and underrepresented founders in the innovation and tech space.

Barb Swanson, Founder of Done Life

Barb Swanson is the Founder and CEO of Done, a Family Life Management Platform designed to bring order to the chaos of modern family life. Drawing on over two decades of international corporate leadership, including scaling SaaS revenues from $10M to $150M across APAC, Europe, and North America, Barb is now applying enterprise-grade productivity principles to the family domain. Inspired by her own experience as a mother of three juggling school communications, sports schedules, and household logistics, she created Done to give parents the same tools and control at home that businesses rely on in the workplace.

Kate O'Connor, Founder of The Hood

Kate O’Connor is the founder of The Hood- a parenting pocketguide and membership designed to strip the chaos out of early motherhood and replace it with clarity, confidence, and a little irreverence.

Before launching The Hood, she spent six years steering Bluey’s  brand and commercial strategy, growing the brand into a multi-billion dollar franchise and delivering some of its boldest moves, from the Bunnings “Hammerbarn” takeover to the immersive Bluey’s World.

Michelle Yanez Olivares, Founder of Amiga Mia

Founder of Amiga Mía, Australia’s leading Latin and Hispanic media platform, Michelle is a first-generation Australian with Chilean roots dedicated to celebrating Latin culture through media, PR and events. With 15+ years’ experience in global community and CX leadership, she now focuses on empowering Latin Australians and advising brands on culturally authentic engagement, inclusive leadership and multicultural outreach.
