Planting Day 2025

Come and join us for a big day of planting along the edge of the sandspit harbour, part of a long term project aimed at protecting the water way from run off and sediment. We are aiming for 3000 trees to be planted!!

Arrive at 9.30am. We will work until about 12.30. Lunch will be provided back at the house.

Everyone is welcome, however there is a reasonable walk to the site so the day is not recommended for young children under 5years or anyone with a heart condition.

Please - 

• wear sturdy boots, and have clothing appropriate to the weather forecast
• bring gardening gloves, 
• water and a snack 
• a spade if you have one. (We have a limited stock to lend out)

Please follow the signs and directions for parking when you arrive and be respectful of the local residents by driving carefully and not blocking gateways. Please car share where possible
