2025 Proudly Public! Awards

The Public Education Foundation celebrates the exceptional commitment and achievement of students, teachers and principals in our public schools. Please join us on Tuesday 13 May 2025 from 6.30pm (for a 7pm start) for this significant event.

We're honoured to have Wendy Harmer, author, children’s writer, journalist, playwright, dramatist, radio show host, comedian and television personality, as our host for the evening.

Scholarship recipients will be presented with their certificates at the event, and the talents of public students will be showcased with an impressive line-up of musical performances. Family and friends are very welcome and encouraged to join in the celebration.

The event is free, however bookings are essential. Please RSVP by 6 May 2025.

For those unable to join us in person, we will be streaming the event via our Facebook page. You'll have the option of tuning in to our Facebook Live page from the comfort of your own home on the night.

Please note - scholarship recipients will be asked to attend the Town Hall from 4pm for official photographs and a short rehearsal. Full school uniform should be worn by all primary and secondary school scholarship recipients.

Additional information will be emailed directly to scholarship recipients leading up to the event.
