2025 Shades of Red Launch

The Shades of Red  Launch is an annual event to celebrate the College’s Poetry and Visual Arts Journal. The event will consist of poetry readings, prizes and a keynote speaker.

The launch will take place at 3:45pm on Tuesday 17th of June in ANZAC Hall, with light refreshments offered afterwards.

Please note: Copies of the journal will be available for sale at $15.00 each on the day.

The Shades of Red keynote speaker for 2025 is Molly Murn. Molly is an accomplished author, poet, and devoted bookseller at Matilda Bookshop in the Adelaide Hills. Molly has interviewed some of Australia’s leading authors and publishers about their work, and the craft of writing. Her debut novel, ‘Heart of the Grass Tree’, was shortlisted for the Debut Fiction Indie Book Awards and the MUD literary Prize. She is currently working on her second novel, ‘Radiance’.

Each student featuring in the book is able to invite as many guests as they wish. We are looking forward to seeing you at this exciting event in celebration of the power of the written word and emotive expression among young Princes men.
