Entry instructions
There are two entrances to the Hall, one street-side, and one from the carpark. The street-side is on Somerfield St and has a small concrete ramp and a couple of concrete steps leading up to the double doors (usually, only the left door is open). The carpark entrance has some concrete steps as well as a long side ramp that lead to a concrete landing before the double glass doors (usually, only the right door is open).
After entry instructions
From the street-side, you will enter a kind of foyer. Walk straight ahead and through the next lot of double doors, into the Hall. From the carpark side, you will step into the foyer. Head straight down towards the Kitchen, then turn left and through the glass door, into the Hall. On the left will be a table with our "Welcome" notice, for newbies, alongside our wee merch suitcase. To your right is where we will be set up, so grab yourselves a cushion on the floor and have your props close-by (we will use them about midway through the class), and we will start the class as soon as everybody's ready. Bench chairs and sometimes single chairs are generally scattered around the Hall (or stacked up to one side), and are available to sit on, if you'd prefer.
Toilet location
From the street-side entrance, there is a toilet on your left, just before the doors to the Hall. From the carpark entrance, instead of turning left to walk into the Hall, turn right for more toilets.
Parking
There is limited parking in the church carpark, and plenty of street parking down Somerfield St, also available. There is a bus stop close-by, too.
Morning Tea
Morning tea will be offered, afterward - crackers, fruit, or bikkies for tamariki/children, and a cuppa and biscuits for pakeke/adults. There is plenty of space to run around, inside the Hall, and there are good playgrounds/parks nearby. **PLEASE NOTE!! If you decide to have a cuppa, please be aware of where you place your hot drink. With so many little ones around, consider keeping them up high, on a solid surface, away from the edge or not making it as hot as you normally would.
