As we embrace the new year, 2025 brings a pivotal opportunity for voices like yours to resonate with both new and returning members of Congress in Arizona. In a time where educators, parents, and students face numerous challenges, your advocacy is vital at the Capitol to ensure Special Education remains a key focus in the 2025 legislative session. 

Join Us for a Day of Impact on February 24, 2025 at Wesley Bolin Plaza.  

Who will be there? Educators, parents, students, and advocates passionate about Special Education.

Why Participate? This is the opportunity to communicate with your AZ State Legislators to let them know the impact of high-quality special education on children and the community.

Make Your Voice Heard:  Learn effective advocacy techniques to communicate the needs of children and youth with exceptionalities, as well as their educators, to State Representatives.

Connect and Prepare: Engage with fellow advocates from across Arizona, receive guidance on advocacy, and arrange meetings with your local elected officials.

Make a Difference: Take the opportunity to speak directly with your representative and champion Special Education. Develop your advocacy skills and become part of an ever-growing community of dedicated educators and advocates

Additional Pre-Event information:

To attend Special Education Day at the Capital, all registrants must attend a pre-event information session to prepare for the event. These information sessions will prepare you to connect with your legislators and know what to expect on the day of the event. Further details about these sessions and the event itinerary will be communicated via email. Registered participants will also receive reminders and a calendar invitation. Registration closes January 25, 2025.

Registration

1. Use the Find My Legislator website to look up your Legislative District number prior to registering. Be sure to enter your State Legislative District and not your Federal Congressional District at checkout. 
2. All registrants must attend a pre-event online information session to prepare for the event. Further details about these sessions and the event itinerary will be communicated via email. 
3. Registered participants will receive reminders and a calendar invitation.
