Entry instructions
There are two entrances to the Centre, one street-side, and one back entrance. The street-side has automatic glass doors and steps leading up to the main foyer. The back entrance is essentially a driveway for the delivery trucks, but it is wheelchair accessible, and prams are best brought through this entrance.
After entry instructions
Once you enter the foyer, there is a staircase with two flights of stairs leading up to the first floor. Facing the street entrance, the stairs are on the right-hand side. On the left-hand side is a public lift. Once you're up on the first floor (turning left out of the lift or at the top of the stairs), head towards two doors, and walk through the double doors on the right, leading into the Hall. To your left will be a table with our "Welcome" notice, for newbies, alongside our wee merch suitcase. To your right is where we will be set up, in front of the stage, so grab yourselves a cushion on the floor and have your props close-by (we will use them about midway through the class), and we will start the class as soon as everybody's ready. Long window seats line both sides of the Hall and single chairs are also available to sit on, if you'd prefer. From the side entrance, once you're through the single door, walk straight down the corridor to the foyer, and continue straight through the double doors of the Hall.
Toilet location
From the top of the stairs, head straight and you will see the toilet doors on the right before you get to the end wall. There are also toilets downstairs, opposite the lift.
Parking
There are a number of parks available in a public carpark, behind the library, and plenty of street parking also available. There is a bike stand for cyclists and a bus stop close-by.
Morning Tea
Morning tea will usually be offered, afterward - sliced banana for tamariki/children, and a cuppa and baked goods for pakeke/adults. There is a playgroup that runs before and after our class, next door, so there is usually plenty to keep tamariki busy and a lot of space to run around, inside the Hall. **PLEASE NOTE!! If you decide to have a cuppa, please be aware of where you place your hot drink. With so many little ones around, consider keeping them up high, on a solid surface, away from the edge or not making it as hot as you normally would.
