Event description

The Kids Sing is a choral festival for primary and intermediate schools held in 10 regional centres and involving around 5000 children nationwide. The Kids Sing aims to foster enjoyment of group singing and provides an opportunity for school choirs to perform.
This year’s Auckland event features recitals from 54 choirs during 3 days of daytime sessions. Each school will receive feedback from expert TKS adjudicator Fiona Wilson. Evening gala concerts celebrate each choir with individual school performances, the presentation of awards and a combined choirs’ performance of The Kids Sing test piece “The Beat of a Different Drum” by Sarah Quartel.
