2025 WA Classical Guitar (Ensemble & Solo) Festival
Event description
The 2025 WA Classical Guitar (Ensemble & Solo) Festival
Presented by
- The Classical Guitar Society of Western Australia, Inc. (www.guitarwa.com.au); and
- Instrumental Music School Services, WA Department of Education (www.education.wa.edu.au/en/instrumental-music)
This festival is an annual event in Western Australia that is potentially the largest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere. With a long history of presenting ensemble performance, it has also included soloists since 2020. The festival provides a unique opportunity for guitarists to perform in a formal yet supportive environment, fostering camaraderie, pedagogical exchange, and cultural enrichment.
Every ensemble and soloist will receive: (1) a written report; and (2) a commemorative certificate. Ensembles also receive a digital copy of a professionally produced audio recording of their performance.
