2025 Walk To Remember - October 12th

On October 12th our bereaved community will gather to ‘Walk to Remember'.

This event, taking place in Malvern, will be an opportunity for us to come together to remember your children. 

We welcome all bereaved families (including extended family) to join us, so we can acknowledge, celebrate and honour the memory of your children. 

The walk will begin at Malvern Gardens - Ascot Street Entrance and will be followed by a delicious afternoon tea where the walk will conclude at Very Special Kids - 321 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern. Register at the park from 1pm, walk beginning at 1.30pm with the day concluding at 4pm.

We encourage you to bring a photo, memento, wear a special colour or item of clothing in honour of your child/ren.

At Very Special Kids we will have a small reflection space where you can place your special items on a table for the afternoon. 

Please bring some greenery or nature items from your home to contribute to the reflection space.

We invite you to contribute to our digital photo reflection. Whether you are attending or not you can contribute a photo. Please send a single high-resolution photo to this email address: dmor@vsk.org.au before September 28th.

Tickets will be available until September 28th and we ask that you have your QR code for each person on a phone on arrival at Malvern gardens for registration (from 1pm). We will have staff and volunteers to assist.

Please note: Pets are unable to attend. Please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking. In the case of extreme weather, the event may be cancelled - we will let you know.
