Event description

Climate Action Schools (CAS) envisions schools as beacons of sustainability. Our mission is to implement tangible and impactful measures, reducing students' waste to landfill and boosting recycling efforts. We cultivate circular economic prosperity through efficient resource recovery.

We'd like to extend an invitation to our upcoming introductory workshop. This session is designed to motivate and equip you to champion sustainability, through the effective deployment of our measurable, waste reduction, and circular economy initiative.

As attendees, you'll receive the comprehensive Climate Action Schools Guide. It's filled with useful hints and guidelines on activating your Schools Environmental Management Plan (SEMP). You’ll also learn about potential funding resources, and how to keep evolving with sustainability, by setting up an on-site Sustainability Skills Centre (SSC).

The workshop will feature industry professionals who will share the steps to becoming part of CAS, and the numerous benefits of joining the tribe, and becoming a Climate Action School.

Our CAS schools have already seen significant reduction in waste volume per student going to landfill, 100% diversion of organics, and an over 90% decrease in recycling contamination.

The CAS program aligns with industry requirements by utilising LEAN, an industry-based quality management system methodology. It equips participants with the skills needed to achieve zero emissions.

Come join us to explore how this sustainable solution can benefit your school and assist in sculpting a better, greener future.
