2025 Workshops: Editing

How do the professionals edit? In this workshop, the Story Hunter guides explore the different types of editing, and what to look for when trying to improve your work. Taking things beyond mere punctuation and spelling, students will learn how to ensure their stories are the best they can be. With real world experience and example activities, students take a red pen to their own work. 

Approximately 90 minutes. Suitable for students in Stages 3 or 4, or extension groups. Students are required to bring a piece of writing to edit. Please indicate your preferred time in the next step.
