Introduction

In this workshop we cover Hadrian's Flow method of flogging, with a focus on "your way", not "the way".

Suitable for the very beginner through to the seasoned Top, this workshop is guaranteed to give you new skills to incorporate into your flogging game.

You will leave this workshop with the ability to "flow" with a flogger and use it effectively and safely in an impact scene.

This workshop is a practical experience, structured for pairs. We believe that the best learning happens on a real target.

About the Educator

Hadrian (he/him) is an Australian leather artisan, impact specialist, educator, and performance artist known for bringing technical precision, creativity, and flow to the art of impact.

Through Leather by Hadrian, he has spent years designing and handcrafting specialist impact tools while developing an intimate understanding of how their construction, movement, and handling translate into sensation and, more importantly, CONNECTION.

Hadrian's unique style, coined “The Flow Method," moves beyond simply throwing individual flogging techniques. It explores how a single tool can create multiple distinct sensations in rapid succession—changing rhythm, intensity, placement, and movement to build dynamic, responsive sequences without constantly stopping or changing implements.

Drawing on his past as a qualified military instructor of over a decade and his experience as a maker, educator, and performer, Hadrian teaches an approach that combines technical control with fluidity, adaptability, and intentionality in teaching methods accessible to ALL. 

The Flow Method is designed to give participants a deeper understanding of their tool and a broader vocabulary for using it—turning individual techniques into continuous, expressive movement.

What To Bring

• Floggers are available for these sessions, however we advise that you have your own so you can learn on the tools you will be using.
