Description

For shareholder activists, Annual General Meetings (AGMs) are a key moment in the campaign calendar. They’re an opportunity to put big decision-makers under the spotlight, ask tough questions and push companies to act on the issues our shareholder community cares about - from climate and nature to social justice.

AGM season is about to kick off and we want you in on what’s coming.

Join ethical share trading platform SIX and climate advocacy organisation Market Forces for a practical lunchtime briefing on the campaigns we’re gearing up for in 2026, the companies we’ll be pushing for change, and how you can get involved.

Whether you’re new to shareholder activism or already part of the movement, this is your chance to get across the plans for the months ahead - and find out where you can make your money and your voice count.

At this informal session, Cari Lin (Market Forces’ Shareholder Action Campaigner) and Phoebe Rountree (SIX Campaigns Manager) will cover:

  • Why AGMs matter: how shareholders can use these moments to put pressure on companies - and turn questions inside the AGM room into wider public conversations.

  • What’s coming in late 2026: the companies SIX and Market Forces are engaging with, the climate, nature and social justice issues in focus, and where AGMs will be taking place.

  • How you can get involved: ways shareholders and the broader community can support campaigns in the lead-up to AGMs and on the day itself.

  • What you want to know: plenty of time for your questions, including questions you can submit when you register.

This briefing starts at 12.30pm AEST - that's 12pm in NT and SA; 10.30am in WA.

This session will have closed captions available. This session will not be recorded.

Note: signing up to this event does not add you to SIX or Market Forces' mailing list, but you will receive a link to both our websites after RSVPing - in case you want to opt in and learn more.
