Women's Health East invites you to join us online for our 2026 Annual General Meeting and the launch of our new Strategic Plan.
This year's AGM provides an opportunity to reflect on the achievements and impact of the past year, while looking ahead to the next phase of our work to build a society where women and gender diverse people are healthy, safe and thriving in Melbourne's east.
Alongside the formal business of the AGM, we will officially launch Women's Health East's new Strategic Plan, outlining our priorities and ambitions for the years ahead and our continued commitment to driving lasting change, advancing gender equality, improving health outcomes and preventing violence against women.
We are delighted to welcome Simone Clarke, CEO of UN Women Australia, as our keynote speaker.
Simone brings more than 20 years' experience across the corporate and for-purpose sectors, including international development, advocacy, partnerships and sustainability. As CEO of UN Women Australia, she is focused on driving systemic change to advance gender equality and the rights of women and girls.
At a time when progress towards gender equality is being challenged both in Australia and globally, Simone will share reflections on the opportunities, leadership and collective action needed to create lasting change.
The AGM will also include the presentation of Women's Health East's annual and financial reports and other business in accordance with our governance requirements. You can find more information about Board nominations at our website.
