2026 ANZ REDCap Conference

Connecting the ANZ REDCap community through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable practice.

Join us in Adelaide for the 2026 ANZ REDCap Conference, hosted in the iconic "Cheese Grater" building within the Adelaide BioMed City precinct on North Terrace.

The conference is a two-day event designed for REDCap users and administrators of all experience levels, from new users through to experienced system administrators. Attendees may participate either in person or online.

Conference Dates

  • Monday 16 November 2026 – REDCap Users Day

  • Tuesday 17 November 2026 – REDCap Administrators Day

A detailed program will be published on this page and distributed to registered attendees once finalised.

Day 1: REDCap Users Day

The Users Day will feature a mix of interactive sessions and presentations covering topics relevant to a broad range of REDCap users and experience levels.

Following the day's program, attendees are invited to join an informal networking event at a nearby venue, providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Australia and New Zealand.

Day 2: REDCap Administrators Day

This year's Administrators Day is centred around the theme of Sustainability.

The program will feature two concurrent streams covering technical, operational, and strategic topics of interest to REDCap administrators, support staff, and institutional leads. Sessions will be suitable for all experience levels.

Call for Presenters

We are seeking presenters for both the Users Day and Administrators Day.

If you have a REDCap project, workflow, innovation, lesson learned, or topic you are passionate about and would like to share with the community, we encourage you to submit an expression of interest. Presentations from users, administrators, developers, and support staff are all welcome. https://sahmri.au/anz-rcc-pres-eoi

*** BUILD CHALLENGE COMPETITION! ***

New to this year's ANZ REDCap Conference we are putting up a build challenge competition for attendees.

The competition is open to individuals or teams of up to three people with the requirement that the individual, or at least one member of a team, must attend the User Day in person and be willing to do a short presentation on their entry if they are selected as a top 3 finalist. Top 3 finalists will be notified 2 weeks before the conference to allow for preparation. Following the presentations the winner will be decided by popular vote among the attendees.

Winners will receive a certificate and a prize pack, including some South Australian wine.

The competition is now open and entries close on 15th October.

Full details and the specification for the build (cunningly crafted by John Liman & Cameron Fong) are contained in the build challenge PDF.
