What comes next after your degree?

Come along to the Archaeology & Heritage Careers Night and Museum & Heritage Studies Information Evening to explore where your studies might take you next - whether that’s working in archaeology, museums and heritage, or continuing on to further study.

We’ll have a range of speakers from across the heritage sector sharing their career journeys through a series of short and lively presentations about the work they do, how they got to where they are today, and what they’ve learnt along the way. From historical archaeology and First Nations heritage, to working with artefact collections, writing reports, working in the field and meeting deadlines, the talks will give you a better sense of what working in the heritage industry actually looks like  - and the many different pathways into it.

I’ll also be sharing information about our postgraduate Museum & Heritage Studies program, what the degree involves and where it might take you.

There’ll be refreshments and plenty of time to ask questions, meet people working in the field and make connections. We’ll also run a practical CV hints and tips workshop to help you think about how to present your skills and experience when you’re ready to take that next step.

Come along, get inspired, meet people and start thinking about what your next step might look like.
