Celebrate Conch living and experience the Florida Keys’ one-of-a-kind, on-the-water golf tournament!
The Conch Scramble is an unforgettable golf experience that participants look forward to year after year. There are no greens fees, golf carts, or sand traps. Instead, each foursome travels by boat from tee to tee with a designated driver/caddie. At each venue, golfers come ashore and take two shots at floating targets using biodegradable golf balls that dissolve into fish food within 90 hours.
The tournament is conducted under a permit from the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. After completing nine holes, teams gather for an awards celebration featuring food, drinks, and plenty of fun.
Teams are encouraged to show their Conch Scramble spirit by decorating their boats and dressing in creative costumes. Costumes are not required, but a special award is presented to the most spirited and best-dressed team.
The Conch Scramble is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides grants to local organizations working to enrich the lives of individuals, families, and the Upper Keys community. With more than 240 tournament participants and hundreds of guests attending the kickoff party, the Conch Scramble has become one of the Florida Keys’ most successful fundraising events and has awarded significant grants to deserving local organizations.
Each year, the Conch Scramble Board invites nonprofit organizations to apply for grant funding. Recipients are selected based on their applications, community impact, and demonstrated organizational need. Funds raised through the tournament and related events directly support these local beneficiaries.
