Alpine Valleys Dairy invites you to join us for the 2026 Dare to Dairy Dinner, an evening bringing together dairy farmers, industry, friends and supporters from across the Alpine Valleys.
Join us at the SS&A Club Albury on Wednesday 4 November 2026 from 6.00pm for dinner, great company and a very special guest, Shane Jacobson.
Special Guest – Shane Jacobson
Shane Jacobson is one of Australia’s most loved and award-winning actors, presenters and entertainers, with a career spanning more than 40 years across film, television, theatre and live performance.
He rose to national and international prominence with his breakout role as Kenny Smyth in Kenny (2006), earning the AFI Award for Best Actor and helping deliver one of Australia’s most successful films of the decade.
Since then, Shane has built an extraordinary screen career, appearing in major Australian productions including Charlie & Boots, Oddball, The Dressmaker, Ladies in Black and Never Too Late, as well as Hollywood’s The Bourne Legacy.
On stage, he has starred in acclaimed productions such as Guys and Dolls - winning a Helpmann Award - The Drowsy Chaperone, Mother & Son, Hairspray and The Odd Couple.
As a television host and presenter, Shane has fronted programs including Top Gear Australia, The Great Australian Bake Off, Little Big Shots and the AACTA Awards.
An accomplished author, producer and live performer, Shane is equally respected for his warmth, humour and authenticity. A passionate supporter of numerous charities and community organisations, he brings heart, humour and hard-earned wisdom to every stage he steps onto.
