Description

Five Dinners | Five Chefs | Five Unique Experiences

The Devour Summer Chefs Series is a one-of-a-kind, summer-long culinary journey with Phoenix’s most iconic chefs joining forces to create unforgettable multi-course menus — each one rooted in collaboration, storytelling and a celebration of Arizona’s seasonal summer ingredients.

Each month, two of the five chefs collaborate to create an unforgettable 4-course, pairing menu telling a story of local ingredients, seasonality and collaboration.

This isn’t just about the food — it is a chance to show up and support Arizona’s local restaurants, chefs and kitchen teams during the summer slump, when temperatures rise and our local restaurants really feel the heat.

Every seat will be filled with Arizona's strongest culinary supporters.

Support local. Eat well. Experience something unforgettable.

Tuesday, May 26: Chefs Lori Hashimoto & Justin Beckett | Beckett’s Table

Chef Justin Beckett and his wife Michelle became fast friends with sommeliers Katie and Scott Stephens when they met in 2002. For years they bonded over family style dinners and the excitement of pairing wine with each of their creations, until one night fate asked a question: “What if we opened our own restaurant?” With wine glass and notebook in hand, they feverishly jotted down everything they cherished about their nights together, from first course to napkin selection. By the end of the night, with their enthusiastic laundry-list, everyone was all in. Beckett’s Table opened in 2010 in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, where fresh ingredients arrive from farms no farther than 30 miles of its kitchen, and its wine list has been created with such passion and attention to detail that it has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the past eleven years in a row. The sophisticated comfort food, open kitchen and warm hospitality reminisces back to their beloved nights of home cooked meals and hand-picked wines. The only difference now is that you get to sit at the table.

Tuesday, June 23: Chefs Justin Beckett, Bernie Kantak and Scott Holmes | The Gladly

In the heart of Phoenix, The Gladly was built on a simple but powerful idea: to make people happy. The name itself was inspired by that promise. We wanted to serve gladly, host gladly, and welcome our community gladly — creating a place where every guest feels genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door. What began as a locally owned Phoenix restaurant has grown into something much more than a dining destination. Over the years, The Gladly has become a place where business deals are made over lunch, where friends gather for happy hour, where whiskey enthusiasts find rare pours, and where milestones are celebrated in beautifully hosted private events. It’s a restaurant, yes — but it’s also a gathering place woven into the fabric of the city. By day, The Gladly is widely known as one of the best lunch restaurants in Phoenix. The dining room carries a steady, welcoming energy — polished but never pretentious. Guests join us for everything from working lunches and client meetings to leisurely midday meals with friends. Our menu reflects that balance: chef-driven, bold in flavor, and grounded in quality ingredients. And of course, there’s the Original Chopped Salad — a dish that has become iconic in its own right and continues to bring guests back time and time again. As afternoon turns to evening, the atmosphere shifts into one of the most vibrant happy hour scenes in Phoenix. The bar fills, conversations grow lively, and our team moves seamlessly between craft cocktails, curated wines, and thoughtfully prepared dishes designed for sharing. It’s the kind of place where a quick drink easily turns into dinner — and where guests feel equally comfortable dressed for a meeting or a night out. Along the way, something unexpected happened. What started as a thoughtful whiskey selection slowly evolved into one of the most respected whiskey bars in Phoenix. There was no grand strategy to build a world-class collection — it happened naturally. Guests began asking for specific bottles. Conversations at the bar turned into deep dives about bourbon, rye, and Scotch. Our team leaned in, listened, and expanded the program bottle by bottle in response to our community’s curiosity and passion. Today, The Gladly houses a worldly and extensive whiskey collection that draws enthusiasts, collectors, and the whiskey-curious alike. It’s not about showcasing a list — it’s about creating an experience around it. Beyond everyday dining, The Gladly has also become one of Phoenix’s most sought-after venues for private dining and events. Our spaces are warm, refined, and adaptable — ideal for corporate dinners, rehearsal celebrations, birthday gatherings, and curated whiskey tastings. What sets our events apart isn’t just the setting; it’s the hospitality. From customized menus to thoughtful service details, we approach every event with the same intention that defines our daily service: to make people happy. That intention has never changed. As Phoenix continues to grow, so have we — but our foundation remains the same. We are proud to be a locally owned restaurant that values relationships over transactions, experience over trends, and community over everything else. At The Gladly, hospitality is not a department. It’s who we are. It’s remembering your favorite cocktail. It’s anticipating what you need before you ask. It’s creating a space where celebrations feel special and ordinary days feel elevated. We are The Gladly — and we will always, gladly, serve our community with warmth, generosity, and heart.
