2026 Easter Egg Hunt

Hop into an eggs-traordinary Easter at The Grounds of Alexandria, where our Garden will be bursting with mini eggs just waiting to be discovered by eager little hunters! Keep your eyes peeled for the golden eggs - find one and you could crack open a cracking prize!

Spots are limited, so don’t put all your eggs in one basket, book your tickets now to make sure your little ones don’t miss out on this egg-cellent Easter tradition.

Please note that this event is exclusively for children aged 12 years and under. Parents and guardians are welcome to accompany their child, but while they can assist and encourage, they will not be able to participate in the hunt themselves.

Entry Points

Choose your gate based on the ticket you select at checkout and plan accordingly on the day:

• Bourke Road Gate, located next to The Potting Shed.

• Huntley Street Gate, located next to The Cafe.

Upon arrival, our friendly staff will check your tickets at the gates and hand out a bucket for each participating child. No outside buckets or bags will be allowed - we've got your egg-catchers covered!

Waitlist

This event will sell out, so please act quickly to avoid disappointment. Once this event has sold out, an option to join a waitlist will appear. This waitlist does not guarantee tickets to the event. If any tickets become available through cancellations, we will offer them through the waitlist in order of joining. Please note however, that very few cancellations are expected.

Important Information

• Please only buy the tickets you need so more families can join the fun.

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 24-hours before the event. Refunds cover the face value of the ticket (not booking fees, which are charged by Humanitix). Check their website for full details.

• This event will be held outdoors, but will go ahead rain or shine. Please remember to dress for the weather.

• Each child with a valid ticket will get an Easter Egg Bucket on the day. No outside buckets or bags will be permitted.

• We estimate that each child will receive up to 20x mini eggs.

• For the best experience, we recommend leaving prams in the car, as space is limited.

• Sorry, no pets can join the Easter Egg Hunt.

• Let's keep it fun and fair! Greedy grabbers will be asked to return their eggs and leave.

• The hunt starts at 8:30am sharp. Please arrive early if you'd like to be at the front and remember that parking and transport in the area can be challenging.

• Entry points are assigned by ticket.

• This event is for kids 12 years and under. Up to 2 adults can accompany each child, but can't join the hunt (helping and encouragement is encouraged!).

• By attending, you and your family consent to being photographed or filmed for use by The Grounds. If you have any concerns, please contact us at info@thegrounds.com.au or speak with our staff on the day.

• Consider pre-booking a table in The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe to skip the queues and enjoy a tasty treat after the event. The Garden Bar & BBQ will also be open.
